It’s that time of year again! On Saturday, October 8th, 2022, from 5-11 PM The Shoppes at Piedmont will once again be offering a little taste of Bavaria with their Oktoberfest celebration. Open to adults 21 and over, this beloved German tradition has something for everyone to enjoy.

From a great selection of brews and food to awesome live music performed by Lincoln’s B Street Band, this year’s festival is not one to be missed. Join us for food, beer, and festivities including a stein holding competition, yodeling competition, and costume contest.

Wieviel kostet ein Bier? (How much is a beer?)

If you’re looking to celebrate the German way, tickets range from $33-42, depending on the package you opt for: basic or VIP. Any additional beer is $8/ticket, which is a great deal if you have the VIP package and get the German beer for that.

The basic package ($33) includes three drink tickets plus admission. Basic package tickets are good for local or domestic brews only.
Upgrading to the VIP package ($42) will get you three drink tickets, entered to win a free stay at the Marriott Residence Inn, and a custom koozie, and admission. VIP Package holders can get Imported or domestic brews with their tickets. Additional drink tickets are $8 each with a purchase of the VIP package.

There will be a varied selection of brews ranging from hard ciders and IPAs to Porters and Marzens to choose from at this year’s Oktoberfest.

Starting with domestic, attendees can select from Backswing Brewing Co., Zipline Brewing Co., White Elm Brewing Co., Angry Orchard, Empyrean Brewing Co., Samuel Adams, and Lagunitas, just to name a few.
Those who are looking for a more authentic Oktoberfest experience can opt for one of the VIP German imports, which include Ayinger, Paulaner, Hoffbrau, Hacker Pschorr, and Warsteiner. For those with the VIP wristbands, additional beers are $8 regardless of domestic or German beer! You'll be getting amazing German beer for the same price everyone else gets domestic!
